Report:

The hallway connecting the bedroom to the bathroom measures exactly 4.2 meters according to laser rangefinders and physical tape measures. Visually, the end of the hall is clearly visible.

However, biological subjects attempting to cross the threshold fail to reach the other side. The last field test involved a Class-D subject walking at a brisk pace. After 20 minutes of walking forward, he appeared (to observers) to be frozen in place mid-step, only inches from the start.

Audio contact was maintained for three hours. The subject reported he was running at full sprint, but the door wasn't getting any closer.

Addendum:

We pulled him back out using a safety tether. He had aged approximately 6 months.
